Rural Construction Secretariat

The Rural Construction Secretariat was created in 1937 for controlling the Agricultural Offices, the Grow More Food Cooperative Societies, Fisheries, Veterinary and Miscellaneous subject also. The main series of this department consists on oldest records of Agricultural Department. The Agricultural Department was established under a Director for the first time in 1893 under the custody of Board of Revenue in 1913. Agriculture Department was separated and got the status under the Administrative Control of Board of Revenue. Again in 1919 onwards it has come under the control of Commerce and Industries Department. All the records of this department are in Urdu and English. These records were transferred to this Department in 1959.
